Jaden Hossler also known as JXDN sold out the Fonda Theatre on the last few days of his US ‘Tell Me About Tomorrow Tour’. JXDN got his start back in 2020 when he released his first debut single ‘Comatose’. Since 2020 JDXN has captivated young peoples hearts by his relatable songwriting, and passion towards mental health awareness. I went before the show to hear what fans had to say about JXDN, and it was so heartwarming.

One fan told me, JXDN saved her life. His music really helped her through her depression. She went on to say “— he truly makes my days better. I listen to his music and I feel heard.” As I walked through this line full of fans I saw so much diversity. Fans from ages 7-47 were all here to see JXDN, not just for his music but for who he is.

Another fan went on and told me how she’s met JXDN multiple times. She told me when she first met him, he introduced himself so kindly and took time to talk to her and make friends with her. She went on to say, “— its been a year now, and every time I see him, he always greets me with open arms, and asks me how i’ve been lately”.

Later fans were greeted inside, where JXDN opened up the show, showing his mugshot from 2020 on the screen. Fans laughed and loved this moment.

JXDN opened up the show with ‘Think About Me’ and the crowd was singing every word with him. The room light up when JXDN gave the crowd a smile and screamed “Los Angeles!”. The energy the fans gave to him was amazing.

After a few songs, JXDN went into the crowd to sing ‘PRAY’. This was held so deeply in fans hearts, as it was a very vulnerable song. He went to the top of the Fonda balcony and hugged fans and held their hands. Before singing the song, JXDN started to say, “— people feel like they are not supposed to feel anything, and that sh*t does not fly here. I want you to feel so comfortable that you allow yourself to feel something for the first time in a long time.”

Another moment in the show, that was so special not only to fans but to Jaden himself, was when he sang ‘Tell Me About Tomorrow’. JXDN wrote this song in 2021, for his best friend Cooper Noriega. He wrote this as a letter to Cooper. After Cooper had gone through a drug overdose in the past, JXDN never wanted to see his best friend in that state ever again. In the song JXDN is trying to tell Cooper he understands his struggles with his addiction, self worth, and depression. He’s telling his friend there is no need to apologize for the way he’s feeling, that he will be there to tell him about tomorrow. Hoping that Cooper will stay around for tomorrow.

(since the show in May sadly Jaden’s best friend Cooper passed on after his battle with addiction, and mental illness. I am truly very saddened to hear this and I will be praying for his family,, friends and fans. If you are struggling with anything from depression, drug addiction, or any other mental illness, please visit https://coopsadvice.org . Cooper wanted to help others and bring awareness to mental health and addiction in young people. Let’s continue his legacy that he left and never forget him.)

JXDN truly put on such a great show. If you walked in not really knowing JXDN, you definitely walked out wanting to know more, and hear more. I know I did. JXDN is a light on and off the stage, and I sure hope to see him again very soon. I will definitely now be listening to more JXDN.
